Malignant transformation of ovarian teratoma responded well to immunotherapy after failed chemotherapy: a case report

چکیده
: Mature cystic teratomas (MCTs), also known as dermoid cysts, are the most common ovarian germ cell tumors and neoplasms in patients younger than 20 years. MCTs mainly appear pelvic masses that made up of different types well differentiated derivates at least two germinative types. MCT ovary is always benign lesions with slow growth good prognosis. Unfortunately, about 1–2% cases, it may undergo malignant transformation. At present, surgical treatment preferred option for early stage transformation teratomas, while a high postoperative recurrence rate. For advanced or recurrent effect conventional chemotherapy radiotherapy poor, leading to mortality. Thus, identifying novel transformed an urgently need clinic. Recently, PD-1 antibody-based immunotherapy has achieved great success lung cancer, melanoma, other tumors. However, its on not yet been reported. Here we reported patient who suffered teratoma responded camrelizumab, anti-PD-1 inhibitor.
